Rev. Dr. Robert "Bob" Michael Hendrickson, 77, of Radford, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at the New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Va. He was born on October 23, 1938, in New York, New York, and was an avid member of many different groups, including the Ministerial Association, Mental Health America, the National Association of Social Workers, Beans and Rice, and the Womens Resource Center. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dean Hendrickson, and his mother, Joan Baumgarten Hendrickson. Survivors include his loving wife, Doris Hendrickson; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa Hendrickson and Victor Stern of Prescott, Ariz., and Karla and Tim Gill of Annandale, Va.; son and daughter-in-law David and Mishelle Hendrickson of Abingdon, Md.; three grandchildren, Patrick and Noelle Marie Gill, and Chloe Ava Hendrickson; two brothers, James Hendrickson of Omaha, Neb., and Dennis Hendrickson of Jerusalem, Israel. A Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church in Radford with Rev. David Dickerson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6 p.m. before the service on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church in Radford.
