Rene Elaine McCollum, 53 of Christiansburg, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at her home. Survivors include her husband of 35 years Gary R. McCollum of Christiansburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Geniece and David Lehmann of Rochester, NY, Meagan and Robert Remler of Athens, NY, and Ryan Lynn McCollum of Rochester, NY; parents Ronald D. and Pauline Snyder Krohl of Wake Forest, NC; three brothers and sisters-in-law Mark and Linda Krohl of Greenville, SC, Mitchell and Erin Krohl of Raleigh, NC and Kip and Gina Krohl of Wake Forest, NC; sister Christine Krohl of Wake Forest, NC; and five grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cambria Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
