Raymond Albert McPeake, 95, of Radford, passed away Thursday August, 13, 2009 at the Fumilas Homeplace in Radford. He was a member of the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church and was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry with over 37 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita D. McPeake, and also by four sisters and one brother. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Sylvia McPeake of Radford; two grandsons, Timothy and Janet McPeake of Dublin and Jeffrey and Tammy McPeake of Radford; and four great grandchildren, Lauren, Erin, Zachary and Carlie McPeake. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Terry Woodard officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens at Dublin. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church on Sunday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, 6900 Pulaski Avenue, Radford, VA 24141. The family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
