Raymond Andrew Dehart, Jr., 72, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at his home in Willis. He was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Floyd and was a U. S. Navy veteran. He retired from the Naval Weapons Station as an inspector. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Andrew, Sr. and Ruth Bugg Dehart. Survivors include his wife, Julie Dehart; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Dehart and Clyde Martin, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; sons and daughter-in-law, Raymond Andrew, III and Sheila Dehart of Gloucester, and Roy Allen Dehart of Hampton; grandchildren, Joylle Martin, Clyde Martin, III, Shelby Kristine Ruth Dehart, and Kailey Sambrano; great grandson, Clyde Donald Martin, IV; sister and brother-in-law, Linda Dehart and Bodie Riggins of Dandy; 3 step-children and 10 step-grandchildren; special canine companions, Bella and Annie. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Shannon Hicks officiating. Graveside services with full military honors will follow at 2 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
