Raymond Eugene "Gene" Chrisley, 79, of Radford, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Chrisley; parents, James Chrisley and Louise Turpin; special brother and friend, Walter D. Chrisley; and grandson, Cody Chrisley. Gene served in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. Upon his return home from Vietnam, he continued his work as a carpenter and contractor, traveling the United States doing various construction builds. While leaving his three sons with the knowledge of construction trades. Dad was always making jokes and never took anything too serious. In his younger years he was an avid hunter and fisherman, that also enjoyed shooting matches and auto racing. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Survivors include his sons, Todd Chrisley and Melissa, Mark Chrisley, and Timmy Chrisley; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Melanie, Ford, Lanie, Seleana, MaKayla, and Chelsie; 2 great grandchildren, Lane and Levi; 3 brothers and 1 sister; special nephew, Kent Chrisley; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
