Ralph Willard Poole, 96, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. He attended Fairlawn Baptist Church and worked at both Hercules and Harris Mechanical as a sheet metal worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cebert and Myrtle Poole; his wife, Frances Sawyers Poole; and siblings, Lloyd Poole, Thelma Poole Sawyers, Kermit Poole, and Phil Poole. Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Poole Williams of Dublin and her daughter, Lori Williams (Torger) Maxfield of Check; and daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Donnie Simpkins of Snowville, and their daughter, Sarah Simpkins (Greg) Polcha of Pulaski, their children, Mackenzie and Christopher Polcha, and their son, Dr. William Simpkins of New York, N. Y.; numerous other relatives and his McDonalds buddies. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin with Rev. Gregory Harrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
