Paul Moore, 81, passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home to reunite and celebrate with his loving wife, Bertha, on their 60th wedding anniversary, November 5th, 2009. He attended the West Radford Church of God and retired from Lynchburg Foundry. He was a U. S. Army veteran. Paul was preceded in death on August 31, 2009 by his wife of 60 years, Bertha Duncan Moore. He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and James Price of Dublin, and Teresa and Frankie Farley of Fairlawn; two brothers, Pete and Billy Button Moore, both of Radford; one sister, Pauline Duncan of Radford; two grandchildren, Brian Armentrout and Sydney Farley; four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Price, Christopher Price, Deanna Farley, and Terri Bryd; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the West Radford Church of God with Rev. Jim Walker and Rev. Hershel Daniels officiating. A Graveside service will be held Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford with V. F. W. Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening at the church. Flowers will be appreciated or contributions may be made to your local church. The Moore family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
