Pattsy Kitty Sue Matzie, 75, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at her home in Pulaski. She was an industrial engineer employed by Honeywell prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah Lessley. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Sheldon Raymond Matzie; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Patti Matzie, and Robert and Sara Kitts; daughters and son-in-law, Cherise Shanks, Lisa and Jason Sagers, and Cassandra Saftler; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and John Toothaker; brothers and sister-in-law, Ricky and Kathy Lessley, and Harold Lessley; and multiple nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Pastor Stacy Cope officiating.
