Patricia Carol Parris, 77, of Radford, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born in Richland, S. C. the daughter of the late Ransome and Cecile Stone. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters and a brother. Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years, Hearl Hoyt Parris, Sr.; daughters and son-in-law, Becky and Dean Henderson of Blacksburg, and Angie Parris of Roanoke; sons and daughters-in-law, Hoyt, Jr. and Denise Parris, and Jerry and Kim Parris all of Roanoke; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Ray Stone of Michigan; sister, Sparkie Higgins of Va. Beach; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Greg Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association.
