Pastor Donny C Minnick, 77, of Parrott, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. He was retired from Volvo Trucks. Donny was preceded in death by his parents, Doanld and Savannah Minnick; sister-in-law, Janet Hurt Minnick; and granddaughter, Whitney Litteral. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Frances Minnick; daughters, Rhonda Minnick and Paris Minnick; son, Austin Minnick (Kayla); grandchildren, Chloe, Skylar, Pierce, Issac, Lance, Eva, and Nolan; brothers, Larry Minnick and Tony Minnick (Helen); sister, Kay Asbury; and a host of other friends and family. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Parrott Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kenneth Poston officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
