Ovella Maude Wade, 88, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at her home in Radford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiley Joe and Auzula Wade; sisters, Eula Simpkins and Erma Wade; and brothers, Frank, Clarence and Herschel Wade. Ovella is survived by her sister, Helen Marie Wade; and many nieces and nephews. Ovella was a longtime member of Grove United Methodist Church. She loved to travel, gardening and flowers. The family would like to give special thanks to Intrepid Hospice. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Grove United Methodist Church in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Jan C. Nicholson Angle officiating. Interment will follow in Big Sand Cemetery in Indian Valley.
