Otis Leslie Hinkley, 79 of Radford, passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Maggie Wayne Hinkley, daughter, Carolyn Heffelfinger, two sisters, Frances and Virginia and by a brother, Charlie. He was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry as an Iron Master, and a member of the Radford Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruth S. Hinkley; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ann Hinkley, Riner; two daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Carl Ivarsson, Fayetteville, NC., and Teresa Epperson and special friend, Evaristo Gonzalez of Pulaski; four grandsons, Jason, Justin, and Jeremy Hinkley, and Trey Ivarsson; one granddaughter, Lora Epperson; two great grandchildren, Brodrick and Brooklyn Hinkley; one step granddaughter, Shana McDonough; one step great granddaughter, Lilly McDonough; half brother, Ralph Woolwine, NJ.; special niece, Nancy Custer; special friend, E.B. Morris; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Bobby Sutphin and Rev. Karl Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mullins Funeral Home. The Hinkley family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
