Otha Early Semones, 79, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. He was a member of the Parrott Church of God and retired from Appalachian Power Co. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Elva McCoy Semones of Dublin; son Raymond Hamilton of Fairlawn; daughter and son-in-law Cissy and Dennis Bane of Pulaski; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Vivian Kimbleton of Radford, Emily Semones Hamilton of Dublin, Marybell White of Radford, and Macie Mills of Parrott; and seven sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 2 pm at the Parrott Church of God with Rev. James Gholson and Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Monday evening at the church. Flowers will be accepted or contributions can be made to the Parrott Church of God. The Semones family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
