Norma Carole Henline Smith, 76, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019. She was a U. S. Navy veteran and a retired medical transcriber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Pauline Henline. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Lee Smith of Dublin; sister, Patty Riddle of Kingsport, Tenn.; nephews, Dean (Amber) Leach, Tim Leach and Mike (Melissa) Riddle; several great nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Christine (Eddie) Miller of Ala., Debbie (Greg) Rose of Nicholasville, Ky., and Linda Kenley of Christiansburg; step grandchildren, Aaron (Maggie) Kenley, Phillip (Kirstin) Rose, Ashlee Rose and Chris Smith; special friend, Richard Carner of Johnson City, Tenn.; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 9 until 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Graveside services with full military honors will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Rev. Ersell Alderman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Legion Post 58 in Dublin. The Smith family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
