Noel Glenn Lawson, 95, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at his home in Radford. He was a professor at Radford University and a U. S. Army Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ethel Lawson; brothers Walt, Gene, and Dean Lawson; and sister, Catherine Carver. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Pamela F. Lawson; daughters, Noelene Lawson Shoemaker (Jim), and Lynne Griffey (Tom); grandchildren, Anna Shoemaker, Madeline Shoemaker (Brett), Melissa ONeill (Matt), and Kevin Griffey (Leanne); great granddaughter, Clara; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
