Nenzerine Manns Lewis, 88, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at her home in New River. She was retired from the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hattie Manns; her husband, Ray Whitfield Lewis, Jr.; brothers, Andrew and James; and sisters, Betty, Elizabeth, Christine and Lillian. Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carlotta Lewis of Dublin; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and James Anderson, and Jeannette and Joe Sheffey, all of New River; grandchildren, Buffy, James, Jr., Janel, Jody, Richie and Cameron; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Caroline Manns, and John Manns, all of New River; sisters, Flossie Brown of New River and Ava Pope of Greensboro, N.C.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at First Missionary Baptist Church in New River. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Montie Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford.
