Naomi Smith, 91, of Charlottesville formerly of Radford, affectionately known as "the Hat Lady", passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Velmer Smith, sons Richard Lee and Rush J. Smith, and daughter Frances Ann Newman. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Arnold and Ingrid Smith of Charleston, WVa; and daughters and son-in-law La Donna Sue Smith of Charlottesville, Va, and Renee and Joseph Harris of Charlottesville, Va. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm with Rev. Lance Jenkins officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.
