Nancy Jane Nester Smith, 71, of Radford, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and was retired from St. Albans Hospital with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Ada Nester; and her husband, Frank Wesley "Sonny" Smith. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Teena Smith of Fairlawn, Ronnie Smith and Carolyn Ratcliff of Dublin, George and Cindy Smith of Danville, and Michael and Tammy Smith of Dublin; brother, Robert John Nester of Pulaski; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Randy Smith, Pastor Jerry Gibson and Pastor Bob Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
