Millard Dale McDaniel, 92, of Radford, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a member of the West Radford Church of God and retired from Hercules. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served during WWII and was a member of the Radford VFW Post #776. He was preceded in death by his wife Sadie M. McDaniel. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Donna Marie Crowder of Max Meadows, and Malinda Dale and Terry Joe Sears of Milano, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Andrew and Denise McDaniel of Moncks Corner, SC; brother, William Desmond McDaniel of Radford; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 10:00 am at the West Radford Church of God with Rev. Bob Crowder and Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford where members of V. F. W. Post #776 will conduct full military graveside rites. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church. The McDaniel family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
