Mildred Caldwell Palmer, 92, of Radford, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah J. Palmer. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Caldwell and Rita Calis of Richmond, Fred and Renna Caldwell of Radford, and Danny and Vickey Caldwell of Pulaski; daughters and son-in-law, Cecilia Vaughan of Roanoke, and Cheryl and Lee Jones of Woodville, TX; sister, Mae Cresell of Parrott; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Lester Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon. The Palmer family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
