Michael "Mike" Glenn Mantz, 68, of Radford, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Glenn, Jr. and Dr. Olivia Simmons Mantz. Left to cherish his memory include his longtime, special friends, Denise "Mickey" Altizer and Barbara Phillips, and many other family members and good friends. Mike was a big man with a heart to match. All who knew him knew that he loved horses and anything John Wayne. He cared for his friends and family deeply and was always willing to help. The Lord was indeed his shepherd, especially in those last difficult years. Now, he peacefully rests in the arms of Jesus. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. A celebration of Mikes life will begin at 3 p.m. with Dennis Trail officiating.
