Michael John Carpenter, 75, of Radford, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015. He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Berlin Crisis and was active in the National Guard. He was the former CEO of Bedroom Factory Outlet. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Kathryn Carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy B. Carpenter of Radford; daughters, Rheanne Carpenter Kroschinsky of British Columbia, Canada, and Morgan Carpenter of Radford; three grandchildren, Hope Bridget Whitley, and Lillyana and River Kroschinsky; brothers, Robert Patrick Carpenter and Richard Paul Carpenter, both of California; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Greg Farnam of Minneapolis, Minn. and Susan and Tom Cochran Moundsville, W.Va.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
