Michael Wayne Calloway, Sr., 54, of Max Meadows, Va., passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015. He was a 2 year cancer survivor and loved being on the road on his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin B. Calloway and his grandson, Kashawn. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Vicky Rene' Calloway of Max Meadows, Va.; his children and their spouses Jesse and Sarah Gregory of Frederick, Md., Evelyn Calloway of Hagerstown, Md. and Michael, Jr. and Jennifer Calloway of Hagerstown, Md.; mother and stepfather, Vera and Dan Catron of Max Meadows, Va.; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth Calloway of Max Meadows, Va. and Robert and Lisa Calloway of Frederick, Md.; sister, Rebecca Calloway and her significant other, John Boyd of Gaithersburg, Md.; and grandchildren, Johnathan, Athena, Damon, Davonte, Anthony and Angelo. A celebration of Michaels life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Hub City Vineyard, 11000 Bower Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740 with full military honors. The family will greet friends beginning at 11 a.m. and also immediately following the service.
