Merlyn Hartsock Meredith, 81, of Radford, passed Monday, February 23, 2015. Merlyn was born September 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Earl and Bessie Myres Hartsock. She was retired from Inland Motors. She was preceded in death on January 7th by her husband of 62 years, Douglas Raymond Meredith, grandson, Matthew Moran and son-in-law, Daniel Young. Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie Meredith of Radford, and Sarah Young of Blacksburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas, Jr. and Sherry Meredith of Salem, and David and Shannon Meredith of Matthews, NC; grandchildren, Zachary Stevens, Meredith Doss and her husband Brandon, Jake Young, and Spencer, Jacob, William, Meg, Cameron, Alex and Laikin Meredith; great grandchildren, Cole, Lily, and Cora Stevens and Aidan Doss; and brothers, Tommy Hartsock and Robert "Harty" Hartsock. The family would like to thank the staff of Cozy Home Haven for all their love and care. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Interment will be private at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin at a later date.
