Melvin Ray "Bo" Dobbins, 81, of Radford, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. He was a member of West Radford Church of God and a U. S. Army veteran. He retired from Lynchburg Foundry with over 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luey Fuqua and Mattie Carroll Dobbins. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Agnes L. Dobbins of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Amy Dobbins of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Noah and Bryanna Dobbins; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Estelle Dobbins of Christiansburg; and sister, Lucille Newman of Hillsville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Frankie Graham officiating. Military graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 20th at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
