Melissa Joann Worrell, 44, of Barren Springs, VA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She is well known for her love for animals, her contagious laugh and smile and love for everyone. She is proceeded in death by her parents, William "Joe" and Freda Hodge; daughter April Worrell; brothers, William Jeffrey Hodge and Roger Hodge; niece, Tiffaney Roseberry; and mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Hazel Worrell. She is survived by her husband Melvin "Eddie" Worrell of Barren Springs; sisters, Dreama (Steve) Johnston of Barren Springs, Terri Proffit of Pulaski, and Jenny (Mike) Oliver of Atkins; brother, Russell "Dale" (Betty) Hodge of Speedwell; and many nieces and nephews.
