Melissa Kay Minnick, 44, passed away at her home in Radford on Thursday, January 21, 2010. She was a cashier at Walmart. Survivors include her parents, William and Carolyn L. Minnick of Radford; two sons, Kevin Andrew and Ryan Daniel Bugg, both of Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Dianne and Steven (Jay) Smith of Radford; a stepson, Allen Boo Bugg of Radford; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Kelly and Karen Minnick of Bland; and two grandchildren, Lilly Rynn Oliver and Micah Bennett. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Vada Edward Marunich officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. The Minnick family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
