Melinda Dobbins Underwood, 75, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 surrounded by her family at her home in Elliston. She was the owner of Log Cabin Tax Services. Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Dobbins. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Edward Underwood; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Jenni Underwood of Glenvar, Doug and Donna Underwood of Elliston, and Kevin Underwood and Emma Cox of Pilot; grandchildren, Vanessa Stewart, Brandon, Brittany and Justin Underwood, and Zachary and Ashley Moore; great granddaughter, Lillian Stewart; brothers, Roy Douglas Dobbins of Orlando, Fla., and Larry Hampton Dobbins of Radford; twin sister, Gwenda Dobbins Duncan of Radford; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rodney Collins officiating.
