Maxine Ricketts Taylor, 92, of Radford, passed away November 30, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude, and two brothers. Survivors include son Kent Taylor and Nancy, grandson Erik Taylor and Sylvan, grandson Andrew Taylor and Myra, great-grandchildren Jackson and Kinsey Taylor, three nieces and five nephews. The family is grateful for the extraordinary care she received from the staff at Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7 at First Baptist Church, 215 Third Ave, Radford with Dr. Paul Lane officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Florence, SC on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts may be made to the Memorial Fund of First Baptist Church. The Taylor family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
