Matthew David Bain, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark David and Dessie Fulcher Bain; wife, Joan Nichols Bain; and son, Roger Bain. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Barry Duncan; special daughter-in-law, Rita Kanode and her husband Terry; niece, Gwen Ratcliff; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Stafford, Kim Bain, Dawn Harrell and Zack Kanode; 13 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and 11 great great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Bethel United Methodist Church. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
