Mary Evelyn Bowden Petrey, 75, of Dublin, entered into her forever home in Heaven on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1948 in West Virginia. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and being at church. She could always be seen with a smile on her face and would do anything for others. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Bowman; brothers, Jimmy and David Bowden; and her sister, Ruth Bowden. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Harrison (Delbert), and Crystal Leffler (Chris); grandchildren, Matt Wetzel, Brandon Petrey (Victoria), Jeffrey Bennett, and Hannah Bennett; great-granddaughter, Ava Petrey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Bowden, and Roy Bowden (Joy); sister, Ruby Bowden; best friend, Glen Branscome; and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug Testerman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
