Mary Wolfe Davis Mize, 94 of Radford, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Wheatland Hills Retirement Center. She was the oldest living member of the Belspring United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fayette Floyd Davis and Walter E. Mize, and her son, Glenn Donald Davis. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sandra Davis of Strasburg; one granddaughter, Sherry Shea of Roanoke; two great-grandchildren, Phillip Davis and Ariel Davis, both of Strasburg; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Mike Duncan officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Shiloh Cemetery in Bland County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral at the Mullins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Pulaski Co. Rescue Squad. The Mize family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
