Obituary

Mary Allene Musick Harrison, 74, of Dublin, went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024. She was a member of Fairlawn Church of God since 1974, where she sang in the choir for 40 years, and was a nurse for 20 years at Highland Ridge Nursing Home. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, making crafts, gardening, canning, cooking and baking, but most of all she loved being a good wife, mother, and grandmother to all her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Letha Musick; husband, Ted Andrew Harrison; brothers, Hunter, Robert and Charles Musick; and sisters, Pauline Musick and Virginia Grizzle. Survivors include her sons, Teddy Harrison (Nina) and Rev. Marcus Harrison (Alicia); grandchildren, Zoe, Gabriella, Samuel and Hannah; brothers, Dallas Musick (Alice), Billy, Kenneth and Willis Musick; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Fairlawn Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. with Rev. Joey Sheppard officiating. Interment will be private at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Fairlawn Church of God, 7858 Peppers Ferry Blvd, Radford, VA 24141.
