Obituary

Mary Earlene Clark Edwards, of Fairlawn, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 25th. She was born on August 29, 1934 in Chatham, Virginia, one of 8 children. She was retired from Kollmorgen in Radford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newton Harmon Clark and Della Whited Clark of Ohio as well as brothers, Cecil Clark and JC Clark. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children and their spouses, Gary W. Hughes (Gwen) of Fairlawn, Terry Roger Hughes (Anita) of Dublin, and Debbie Thomas of Radford. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, Blake (Vickie) and Daniel Hughes, Lindsey Frazier ( Joel), Paul Barker, Bryan St. Clair (Tracey), Jason St. Clair, and Jeremey (Brandy) St Clair; and 11 great grandchildren, Eric and Evan Hughes, Spencer and Ryker St. Clair, Breanna, Gavin, Talen, Riley, Madison, Ethan and Sean. Also, left to cherish her memory are her sisters and brother and their families, Dorothy Snead of Bristol, Shirley, Margaret, Darlene, and Glen, all of Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1330 W. Peachtree St., Suite 100, Atlanta,GA 30309.
