Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Mullins Dingus, 82, of Radford passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Radford Health and Rehab. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Grace E. Sturgill Mullins, and also by her husband, Earl Lee Dingus. She was a retired employee of Klopman Mills. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis L and Kathy Dingus of Riner; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Walter Gallimore of Radford, Patricia L. Thomas of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Earlene and Eddie Akers of Riner, and Johnnie and Robert Lytton of Christiansburg; two brothers, David Mullins of Ind., and Chris Mullins of Big Stone Gap; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Robert Marshall of Norton, and Carroll and Bill Miracle of Tenn.; brother-in-law and spouse, John Allen and Mary Dingus of Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Kelly, NRV Medical Center and Radford Health & Rehab for all their kindness. The Dingus family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
