Mary Ellen Phillips Clement, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her home in Radford. She was a retired telephone operator with C&P Telephone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bessie Phillips; her husband, W.R. "Buddy" Clement; brother, Marvin Phillips; and sister, Iris Croy. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Nancy Phillips of Radford; several nieces and nephews; and special great-nephew, Daniel Keffer, USAF of Washington D.C. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice and Peggy Shaw for all their loving care. Services will be private.
