Mary Vernell Brown, of Radford, wife of the late George. G. Brown, went home to be with the Lord quietly on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Survivors include step-daughters, Helen (Andrew) Lewis of Richmond and Geraldine Mack of Washington, DC, and a host of other family and friends. A service celebrating Vernell's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at First Baptist Church, 555 West Rock Road, Radford, VA. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the building fund of FBC. The family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory, Radford, VA 24141.
