Mary H. "Sue" Bowman, 75, of Riner, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. She graduated from Radford High School and attended National Business College. Upon finishing at NBC, she was hired by All-Star Concrete, Christiansburg. After All-Star, she worked for Concrete Products, Marshall Ready Mix and retired from Chandler Concrete. She was preceded in death by her husband John "Pete" Bowman; parents Lewis Gordon and Margaret Hypes; and her faithful canine companion Buddy. Survivors include her brothers and their spouses, Steve and Drew Hypes of Scottsboro, Alabama and Michael and Julia Ann Hypes of Morehead, Kentucky as well as step-children, grandchildren, cousins and extended family. Gratitude is provided to the wonderful staff of UK St. Clair Hospice in Morehead, Kentucky. The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Per her request, graveside services will be held at West View Cemetery in Radford at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
