Marvin Eugene Pannell 55 of Radford, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Sexton and Peggy Reed Pannell and also by a brother, Pud Pannell. He was a veteran having served in the US Marines. Surviviors include two sisters; Pansy P. Kittinger of Christiansburg, and Joyce P. Akers of Pilot, companion wife; Vickie Carden of Radford. There will be a memorial visitation held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Leukemia Society of America Virginia Chapter, 2101 Executive Drive, Box 21; Hampton, VA 23666. The Pannell family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
