Martin Gregory Kirk, 25, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Martin was a loving son, brother and friend who loved adventure. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Carol Kirk, and uncle, Jay Kirk. He was loved by all and will be sadly missed by his mother, Donna Kirk; father, Randal Kirk; siblings, Julian Kirk and wife Kristin, Kellie Artrip and husband Adam, Zylphia Kirk, and Jupiter Kirk; maternal grandparents, Robert Pennington and Ruth Pennington; and many other relatives and friends. Martin had a free and loving spirit that was never meant to be contained in life or in death. The family will be scattering his ashes in many of his favorite places. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Roberts officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the National Institute on Drug Abuse or to the Partnership for Drug Free Kids.
