Martha Wilkerson Sowers Fleeman, 79, of Radford, passed away Thursday, July 18. She was preceded in death by her late husband D.W. Sowers. She leaves behind her husband, Melvin Fleeman; sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Claudette Sowers of Terrell TX, Steve and Karen Sowers of Richmond; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Jeff Sandoe of Draper; step-daughter and her husband, Karen and Ed Moffitt of Roanoke; beloved grandchildren include Danielle Sowers McBurnett, MacKenzie Sowers, Ben Sowers, and Emma Sowers; great-grandchildren, Sydney McBurnett and DaeLyn Hooper; brother, Mack Wilkerson; and sister, Sarah Martin. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church in Radford with Dr. Paul Lane and Rev. Kent Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the time of the service on Monday.
