Marie Williams Abee, 90, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from C&P Telephone, Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar B. and Bessie W. Williams, her husband of 65 years, Ray Clarence "RC" Abee, sister, Julia Johnston and brother, Glenn Williams. Survivors include her sisters, Peggy Hammond and Bette Wampler; sister-in-law, Barbara Williams; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Radford Health and Rehab and Good Samaritan Hospice for all their loving care and kindness to Marie and her family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Brian Cockram officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Mission Fund, 622 Sixth Street, Radford, Virginia 24141.
