Maria Luise Flynn, 74, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Frida Ryssell; husband, Muriel Carlile Flynn; and sister, Astrid OConnor. Survivors include her son, Antoine Flynn (Erin Powell) and Chris Flynn; grandchildren, Rachel Flynn Shanklin (Derek), Raven Snidow, Helena Flynn and Mahogany Flynn; best friend, Vera Carter; nephews, Mark and Evan OConnor; and many other relatives and friends. Maria will be interred with her husband in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. A private service for close friends and family will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at her place of business.
