Margaret Ellen Sheffey Shaw, age 85, of Radford, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansel H. and Elsie Groseclose Sheffey; her husband, George Edward Shaw; brother, David Sheffey; sister, Alice Parks; and her son-in-law, Gerald Kennon. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Michael and Kathy Shaw; daughters, Louise Kennon, and Cynthia Vicars; grandchildren, Toby and Rick Riggins, Stephanie and Mark Lucas, Tasha and Travis Cox, Velena and R.A. ODell, David and Anita Hungate, Chris and Kari Vicars, Kim Hall and Seth Thomas; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald, Robert and Frank Lee Sheffey; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Don Shelor officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
