Obituary

Margaret (Peggy) Livesay Faivre Bocock, 86, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at her home in Radford. She was born August 28, 1923 in Rogersville, TN the daughter of the late Walter J. and Elizabeth Testerman Livesay. She was a member of the Radford Christian Church where she was very active in CWFs Bible Studies. She attended LMU and Carson Newman College, completed a 2 year commercial course in Harrells Commercial College, Rogersville, TN, and also refresher courses at Bristol Commercial College. She was a bookkeeper for her father at Rogersville Milling Co. and a secretary at Tennessee Eastman in Kingsport, TN and at Charter Federal in Bristol. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Alfred Faivre, Jr.; her second husband, James Wesley Bocock; and by three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her beloved son Henry Alfred Faivre, III and his wife Connie of Chesapeake; a brother Jack Livesay and his wife Thelma of Rogersville, TN; a stepdaughter, Doris Lee Golden of Knoxville, TN; four step-grandchildren Beki and Joey Ledford of Lilburn, GA; Michael and Susan Golden of Murfreesboro, TN; Susan and Gary Johnson of Knoxville, TN; and Missy Golden of Duluth, GA; and three step-great-grandchildren Rachel and Willie Ledford, and Emily Golden. She is also survived by a number of much loved nieces and nephews and by many loved and quality friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Bobby Sutphin, Dr. Fred Austin, and nephew Rev. Sheldon Livesay officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. There will be no family visitation. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Radford Christian Church.
