Malcolm Andrew Hopkins, 88, of Radford, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2007 in the New River Valley Medical Center. He was retired chief transportation inspector at RAAP with 29 years of service. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served as Sergeant during WWII. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Radford. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Alta Mae Graham Hopkins of Radford; twin daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Scott Morgan of Greenville, NC and Jane and Alvin Smith of Lawrenceville, GA; four grandchildren, Molly Entrekin and her husband Kevin of Lawrenceville, GA, Dawn Newell and her daughters Erin and Aliea of Tyler, TX, Patrick Scott Morgan of Redlands, CA, and Patricia Jane Morgan of Greenville, NC. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Radford with Rev. O. Dudley Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mullins Funeral Home. The Hopkins family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
