Maggie Taylor Minter, 89, of New River, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. She was retired from Radford University and a member of the Radford Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Julia Taylor; and her husband, Elmore L. Minter. Survivors include her children, Carlotta (Michael) Lewis of Dublin, Kathleen Goode of Lorton, Jennifer Saunders of Radford, Marvin Minter of Roanoke, Anthony (Bertha) Minter of Fairlawn, Donald Minter of Radford, and Julia Minter Scott of Radford; 21 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Norma (Alfonso) Walker of New River; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford.
