Lynda Carol Meadows Ratcliffe, 81, of Belspring, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and was a former teacher at Radford Child Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Holt and Verna Gladys Meadows; husband, Robert Banford Ratcliffe III; son, Donald Lynn Ratcliffe; and sister, Iris Ann Baker and Vivian Phillips. Survivors include her children, Robert Ratcliffe (Amy), Susan Stike (Guy), and Baudi Spry (Gary); grandchildren, Brandy (Justin), Stephany, Samantha (Kyle), Guy II (Georgia), Tristan (Maggie), Weston, and Blair; great grandchildren, Henry, Lachlan, Greyer, Robbi, Crew, Scotland, and Bennett; sister, Jackie Akers; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Gentiva and Wythe Hospice of SWVA. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Gary Stike officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
