Lucille Smart Wilson, 91, of Dublin, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Highland Ridge Nursing Home. She was a member of Belspring Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Henry and Ethel Gilmore Smart, her husband Joseph Ashton Wilson, brother Robert Smart, sisters Dorleen Roop and Frances Slater, grandson Chris Wilson and son-in-law Virgil Capps. Survivors include her daughter Joyce Capps of Christiansburg; son and daughter-in-law Jerry L. and Mary Wilson of Dublin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe H. and Bernice Smart, Jr. and Elwood and Virginia Smart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy McCoy, Malieta Boyd, June and Forest Dobbins, Shirley and Pierce Crabtree, and Dolly Hedge; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of the service on Wednesday. The Wilson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
