Louise Hunley Walker, 78, of Radford, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by a a daughter Patsy W. Whittaker, two great-grandchildren Amber Whittaker and Connor Walker, and a great great grandchild Skylan Amos. She is survived by her husband, Howard C. Walker of Radford; a son, Johnny Walker of Floyd; grandchildren Michael Wayne Whittaker of Radford, Cynthia Gail Linkous of Radford, Kimberly Andrews and her husband Ernie of Covington, J. C. Walker and his wife Dawn, and Tracy Walker and his wife Jamie; 6 great grandchildren, Shaun Whittaker, Hallie Linkous, Allen Kirby, Thomas Linkous, Emma Whittaker, Makaela Whittaker, Peyton Walker and Brittany Walker; and a great great grandchild, Isabelle Smith. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Barry Vansteenburg and Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association, 2728 Colonial Avenue, Suite 2, Roanoke, VA 24003.
